1. INSECURITY & FEAR

Comparison is fear looking for evidence.

Christ says YOU ARE MADE NEW and your identity should be secure IN CHRIST.

2. BITTERNESS

3. RELATIONAL CONTENTION & UNFORGIVENESS

Forgiveness releases vengeance to God. It does not erase wisdom.

4. CONTROL & MANIPULATION

Control says: “God, I don’t trust You with this.”

We are essentially saying: “I don’t need Your help.”

5. SHAME

Guilt says, “I did something wrong.” Shame says, “I am something wrong.”
